In 1948, the 2CV was presented to the public for the first time. With the purist, inexpensive small car, which was easy to maintain and easy to operate, Citroën offered a robust mass vehicle for the people, which had an extremely good suspension in accordance with the sparsely developed road network. From 1981, when the 2 CV had long since become a cult object, a two-tone version appeared in series, the burgundy and black 2 CV 6 Charleston, which was followed by a yellow and black version from September 1982, both equipped with an air-cooled 0.6-liter two-cylinder boxer engine and 29 hp of power. In keeping with the original, the kit offers chrome-plated hubcaps, the typical chrome-plated headlights as well as a multi-part engine and, of course, a movable bonnet.
