The Messerschmitt P.1099A was one of the many "paper projects" of the German Air Force during World War II. It was designed as an improved and larger development of the successful Me 262 jet fighter, intended to operate as a heavy fighter, bomber or night fighter. It featured a wider fuselage for a two-man crew and advanced armament (such as MK 108 30mm cannons), but never reached production due to the end of the war.
