The term "Sith Infiltrator" applies to several starships from the Star Wars universe that the Sith use in their actions against the Jedi Order, but perhaps the most famous and powerful of them is the Sith Infiltrator Scimitar (Scimitar for short) used by Darth Maul in the film "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" from 1999. The unit was developed specifically for the needs of its sole user and is an extensive modernization of the Star Courier ship manufactured by Republic Sienar Systems. The length of the machine is assumed to be approximately 26-27 meters. The movement is provided by two experimental and very efficient ion engines. The unit also has a hyperdrive (hyperspace drive) so-called SECOND order. It also has powerful laser weapons and can fire proton torpedoes. The Sith Infiltrator Scimitar also carries the DRK-1 Dark Eye Scout Probe and the Bloodfin Speeder.
