The IAF Kfir C.2 was an Israeli-built, multirole fighter aircraft based on the French Dassault Mirage 5, but with a powerful GE J79 engine and updated avionics. The United States Navy and Marine Corps leased Kfirs in the 1980s for air combat training, designating them the F-21 Lion. The "IAF Kfir C2/F-21 Lion" commonly refers to model kits of this aircraft, often from Italeri.
